Welcome macroman + that is a fantastic photo. It's one of the leaf beetles (chrysomelids)- the Poplar Leaf Beetle, Chrysomela populi, I believe. |

Brilliant,thankyou very much,i try to find out the i.d of everything i photograph,but wasnt having much luck with this one,it was a lovely beetle. |

Thanks Chris. Unfortunately though - no! It's still a Chrysomelid and very similar to the OPs one. |
