| | | Mirid bug for id Hello,
This mirid bug was seen sheltering (but still getting blown over) in the lee of sand dunes at Bembridge Point, IoW this afternoon.
Having had a shufti at the British Bugs site I reckon it might be Rhabdomiris striatellus. Can anyone confirm or reject that?
Thanks for looking, Rob

| | | Re: Mirid bug for id Afternoon Rob,
Yes, correct. Beware of confusion with Miris striatus - having beaten Oaks frequently in the last few weeks, I have to have a close look at them. Never yet beaten two into the tray together, though!
Take care, Jason

| | | Re: Mirid bug for id Thanks Jason. This one seems to have strayed somewhat from its home - no oaks nearby. Probably blown here by recent gusty conditions. Rob | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
