| | | Mystery Brown Beetle Hi
I am new so please be gentle if i do anything wrong.
I have checked my book and also had a scan through the forums but I cannot ID this beetle. Any help would be great!
It flew in my living room window this afternoon, was about 8-10mm long and kept landing on its back and was generally pretty bad at flying. Eventually it went off out the window with help from a abit of paper. It was pretty fast moving hence the pics not being that great.
About the closest my book of insects comes to this is some sort of dung beetle but I am not too sure. |

| | | Re: Mystery Brown Beetle Evening Daisy, and welcome to WAB!
It could be an Onthophagus species (Scarabaeidae).
Take care, Jason |
