A bee with a needle like nose ??


Tried hoverflies, bees and wasps, but cannot find anything.

Taken today at Summer Leys, Northants.

Anyone ??

We seem to be getting a few of these reported this year; but so far, I've only found one.

Yes, my daughter has many in her garden - unfamiliar to me, and when she said they were 'Bee-flies' I really thought she was joking!
