| | | Which weevil? Hello all - first one for you from today's walk in the woods! Tiny weevil, about 5mm in length, but beautifully marked. Anybody any ideas? I've had a quick sweep on Google and didn't really find anything like it ... |

| | | Re: Which weevil? Hi,
no weevil, but a beetle of the family Anobiidae, called Hedobia imperialis. The beetles sit on dry dead woods, like all Anobiidae, only sometimes somewhere in the leafs around their breeding wood or seldom in flowers.
Regards
Klaas

Klaas | That makes sense, Klaas - this one was on a leaf right by a pile of chopped up dead wood. Thank you again for your help. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
