That site has also been noticed in the Hoverfly Recording Scheme website Hoverfly Recording Scheme - View topic - Article describing hoverflies as pests
Everything about that E How site seems quite odd so I didn't want to click any of their links or delve any closer into it.
Perhaps I am being paranoid but I am very wary of any strange site with very questionable details/information.

I had a look at the bumblebee one and "dubious" would be a charitable viewpoint. Best stick to the Natural History Museum's site - Paul Williams is a world authority on these bees, and is particularly familiar with the UK bumble fauna. | | |
