Northern Damselfly???
Is this a Northern Damselfly? According to my research the second abdominal segmant looks points to it but im in the Northwest of England.Is it simply an Azure?

Your Damselfly is missing the Coenagrion Spur on the thorax, which rules out Northern Damselfly, which is only known from a few sites in the north-east of Scotland anyway.

I'm not familiar with the Azure Damselfly, but I think you have a Common Blue Damselfly.
