Unidentified Ladybird
Found this in te garden yesterday, but can't identify it. It looks like a harlequin ladybird, and has brown legs, but it is tiny - about 3mm. Probably the smallest ladybird I've ever seen.
Can anyone help please?

And there was I thinking that they emerge as fully formed adults!

Thanks. Just Googled the scientific name, amazing how many different variations there are of the same species.

Yes the decempustulatus form. Adult ladybirds dont really grow. All growth occurs while they are larvae.
