Insect Id required, possible a wasp!
I have been through all the books and internet sites to try and id this insect, however I have not come across anything that looks remotely like it.

The insect is approx 1 inch long and was roosting on a leaf in the early morning, this was at Ubley Warren on the Mendips.

I would be grateful if someone could give me an id on this.

Many thanks, that looks like the correct id, looked up female Tenthredo celtica and the images matched.
