4 mixed unknowns for id please
Hi can anyone put names to these 4 for me please. all taken today in hedgerows adjacent to an open meadow.

Morning TN,

The first is a Soldierfly - could be Microchrysa polita. Next-up is an Ichneumon Wasp - identification is a microscope job. The last is a Broad-nosed Weevil of the Entiminae sub-family, but I don't have sufficient experience with these yet.

You have left out the Eristalis hoverfly, Jason.

Probably E. pertinax.
