There are several features to differentiate it from Lilioceris lilii but the best is size! Cardinals are around 20mm long, lily beetles ten or lless ....

| | | Re: Red Lily Beetle? I'm thinking more likely Pyrochroa serraticornis due to having a red head instead of black and it's eyes are smaller and more to the side of the head than a red lily beetle.
It's hard to see in your photo but P. serraticornis also have more jagged antennae than the red lilly beetle.
