Help to identify this fly

Please can anyone help identify these flies, and more importantly tell me how I get them to leave the house!! I'm sure they are lovely in the right environment but my house is not it!!!

I think this group is collectively known as Window Gnats, but I'll leave it to the fly experts to take it further, though I suspect a definitive ID won't be posible without a specimen.

Occasionally I find individuals in my house + when I can be bothered I catch them in a smalll jar + release them outside.
