ID Please
I took this a week ago in a grassy meadow in leicestershire and as yet not managed an ID for so any help would be appreciated cheers stevio

What a cryptic angle! It's female and most likely a Non-biting Midge from the Chironomidae family.

Thanks for that Jason I remember looking at it and making a mental note of it's size and shape, trouble is when I got home I had forgotten all I'd remembered!
