I am so pleased to have found this forum. Having spent ages trying to identify bee like insects flying around the apple blossom, I found your site and came across the amazing photograph taken by Kayleigh of a bombylius and the mystery was solved.
A bit about me. I am married to a farmer and we live out on the Essex marshes with two rescue dogs, two ponies and two geese. Just to show that not everything comes in two's, we also have one cat! We are spoilt for wildlife here and I love going out with my camera and taking photos. I also enjoy gardening, walking, anything to do with animals and I also paint wildlife and pet portraits. |

| I know what you mean as I also love the marshes, especially in winter when it is really bleak. I have been to Shoeburyness and Foulness and it is even wilder there than where we live. I am sure Somerset has many compensations as it is such a beautiful part of the country. |
