Hoverflies for ID please
Hello
Please could someone ID these for me - taken over the weekend. the first 2 I've tentatively ID as Erastalis sp? Await to be corrected

The last 2 pics of the same one which had a bright red abdomen when flying in sun and seems to have a large "nose"? which also seemed to be open when it secreted nectar (from the other end!)

Excellent thank you, with that info found some amazing shots by someone else - macro junkie - all makes sense seen from another angle!

date, location, grid ref, recorder (+ species)
