Roughly 10mm long, on a dandelion. It had small silver hairs on it's legs and thin stripes of silver hairs on it's abdomen.
I was thinking possibly Lasioglossum sp.?
I appreciate it's a poor angle for ID, I'm just looking for a name to put to it, however vague it be.

Afternoon Adam,

It depends on the siting of the transverse hair-bands. If they run along the anterior margin of each segment then it's Lasioglossum. If they are based along the posterior margin of each then it'll be a Halictus.

In this case the angulate shoulders nearest the pronotum makes me think of Lasioglossum, but I wouldn't like to commit further.

Yes, anteriorly-placed. Must be a Lasioglossum sp., then.
