| | | Is this just a dung fly, please? I was so pleased this stayed put even when I got close, but having looked through the Gallery I'm now thinking it's 'Dung fly - Scathophaga furcata' and, if so, not actually high on my hit list! Would someone please say?! |

| | | Re: Is this just a dung fly, please? It's Sciomyzidae, Tetanocera sp. but to get to species is very difficult. Snail killing fly is the common name.
