I took this close-up photograph of a Bluebell a few days ago. On closer inspection of the image, I noticed a number of small insects in attendance - you need to enlarge the image to see them. It would be great to know what these insects might be and what relationship (if any) that they might have with the Bluebell. Many thanks.

They are thrips but I'm not even going to guess at a more precise id.
They're most likely feeding on the bluebell's pollen.

Wow - amazingly fast answer. Thank you Gerel. Given that there are about 150 species of Thrips in the UK, I'm not surprised about your reluctance to provide a precise ID! Good job!
