Hi Nige, sorry for late response...i had to borrow someones Laptop to get on. I'm still havng computer trouble and don't know when it will all be sorted.

Geophilomorpha (Earth centipedes) will have 35-101 pairs of legs.

Scolopendromorpha (Cryptopid centipedes) will have 21 pairs of legs.

Lithobiomorpha (Stone centipedes) will have 15 pairs of legs.

Yours looks to have 21 pairs of legs which will make it a Cryptops sp. There are four found in Britain, though C. doriae is only to date found at the Eden project. The other three are C. parisi, C. anomalans and C. hortenis, but you will need to have a close look various parts of it anatomy to take it to species...which can be said for most Centipedes.
