I know how everyone loves these! 
Mid size, maybe 11 or 12mm. 2nd April. I got a male 10 minutes after which might belong to her, maybe I should post him too.

Pretty sure I can count 13 antennal segments on the photo of the "female", which would make it a male. Parasitism by Stylops can have odd effects in the hosts - sometimes "giantism" can result, or they can display charactersics of either sex. |

I'm not sure Matt! I did wonder but thought I could only count 12 segments. I marked them off on both antennae, the one on the left seems to show a short segment near the tip but is that an illusion?

Oveall, the bee looks more "male" than "female" as well. | | |
