Mining bees under attack

At the weekend in Shropshire I waswatching some bright orange Andrena type mining bees in a lawn.
There were one or two small (1cm) brown bees waitng near the burrows and when an andrena approached they would fly up,grab it and wrestle with it on the ground.
I would be interested in which species both were and what the attacker was doing,e.g. stealing prey?

I reckon you're seeing males grabbing + mating with the more colourful females.

Many thanks,Didn't think of that,prob because the two insects were so different.
You info sent me to andrena images on google where both male and female andrena fulva matched what I saw.
