Black and white spotted fly for id
Stony Stratford, Bucks. 2nd April 2011.

I was immediately reminded of a recent post by Graham (glsammy) that was identified as Anthomyia procellaris. Usually I'm cautious about suggesting an id but this fly is fairly distinctive...

Confirmation (or otherwise) of id appreciated:
