Hi everyone, this is my first post. I'm not really sure which forum to put this in as I've no idea what is is! Had a good look round this site and the internet generally and come up with nothing. I'm guessing a spider egg sac or pupa of some kind.
It's quite smooth - no "silkiness" evident.
it's several cm long and a couple wide at the widest point. It's in a north facing conservatory in Nottingham, and appeared on 3/4/11
Any help much appreciated,
