| | | Centipede or Millipede? My first thought on this was a centipede but it didn't look like the common garden centipede. The more I have looked on the web to try to identify it, the more confused I have become. Now I don't even know if it is a centipede or millipede. Any thoughts anyone?
These were the only images I managed as it was a very fast mover. |

| | | Re: Centipede or Millipede? Evening Tups,
Try a Flat-backed Millipede such as a Polydesmus sp., though this is far from my area.
Take care, Jason |

Any thoughts anyone? | The surest way to tell is to look at how many pairs of legs it has per segment.
1 pair = centipede
2 pairs = millipede | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
