| | | Whats that Bee? Hi all.
Never really taken much interest in Bees, but have decided this year to start having a closer look at the different species around. So here's my first bees that I need help naming.
Also could someone out there give me a name for a good id guide for bees.
Cheers David |

2 female Andrena fulva.
There's a couple of good bumblebee books, but no real ID guide for all bees. The most useful I've found is David Baldock's Bees of Surrey- not an ID guide, but some excellent photos.

| | | Re: Whats that Bee? As Aeshna said, Bees of Surrey may be a bit localised in some aspects but it does cover the majority of UK species and has some handy ID Keys which should get you to the correct family if not actual species.
And there are some good photos. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
