| | | Help identifying small flying insect needed Hi,
For the past week or so we've started to get an insect appearing in the downstairs rooms of our house (our 3 rooms downstairs are open plan so free for insects to move between). Initially it was 2 or 3 a day but it's steadily grown to around 30.
They are very small, maximum 5mm long and 2mm wide. 6 legs and antennae. They fly mainly when provoked and appear on walls and ceilings. During the day there doesn't seem to be that many but at night the numbers increase to the 30 or so I mention.
They're farely dosile allowing me to get right in close to them before flying away or falling off the wall when touched.
Any help you can give me to identify them would be appreciated. I'd also like to understand where/why they might have taken up residence and how I can persuade them to move out.
Thanks in advance. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
