| | | Re: Hoverflies waking up There does seem to be a few of these early Myathropa florea being reported, Toby. They are normally more of a from May onwards species and I don't normally see many until the late summer.
So far, it is mostly the common Eristalis species which I have found; very little of any outstanding interest all round. |

Found this chap in Kew gardens today, think it is Eristalis tenax or Eristalis interruptus. ?:
