It's a 'Minute Brown Scavenger Beetle', family Latridiidae. The elytral pattern could signify Cartodere (=Aridius) bifasciata, but without a key or experience I wouldn't like to exclude others based on just colour.
I've beaten this one in January, but not seen it more recently. I'll kick this one aside any further for an expert!
