Ladybird iD, no pics
Hi all,

In the school I'm working in today I came across a ladybird. I'm now sure what it is. It looked like your typical 7-spot, red/orange with black spots, except it had 18 spots in total. I just presumed it was an 18-spot Ladybird, but now looking online the 18-spots look a lot different! Any ideas what I might have seen?

I did think that, they come in all shapes, sizes and colours. Annoying they are just when I think I've found one I haven't seen yet

That would be nice, but I don't think it was that big, and none of the habitat I've seen listed for it is nearby here

Twas probably a Harlequin, next time I'll get pics
