Question its galling?
Hello insect forumists,
grateful for any help with this strange creature.
Found when fungalling yesterday, only saw it on the crust when I downloaded, that'll teach me to look more carefully!
Antlike, but maybe a female ichneuman gall wasp type ? Roughly 1cm or less long I guess.

Sorry about the pic, its cropped a lot and off focus range a bit.

It's a Rove beetle, Staphylinidae.
