Take a look at the Dermestes lardarius and see if this is what you have?

| | | Re: House bug They are fed by dried proteins, such as dry meat, dried dog and cat food and similar. You need to find what they feed on and dispose it. Possibly, if you are living in an old house or if there are many pigeons around the house you need to go to the attic and have to surch for dead and dry birds, mice or similar. There can be more possibilities. You just have to think a little unconventionally.
And remember: it is not a sign of a dirty household or what ever. I had one asking for similar beetles like yours. He defended himself against my tips, because he thought of me talking about a dirty household. At least he found out, that his old dog, which meanwhile died, stored the dry dog food he couldn't eat, because of his disease in the last week of his life, under the cabinet in the sleeping room. After he found this he got rid of the beetles.
Regards
Klaas

Klaas | I also had a few of these in my house when i first moved in. The occupants before me also had a small dog that would hide food under the stairs cupboard. Which is where the beetles where coming from.
Here is some more info here to go along with what Klaas has suggested... Larder or Bacon Beetle
