I'm just finishing up making a solitary bee home and am wondering where to place it. Some site say to put it low and another says to put it at least a meter up. Does anyone know the ideal high it should be?

I wouldn't put it too low, it will get splashed and perhaps interfered with by cats. 1.5 - 2m is okay and means that you won't have to bend down to watch it! |

Put it about head hight on a sunny wall - makes looking that the nest tubes much easier. |
