Brimstone and bumble bee
Two year firsts in my garden this lunchtime as the temperature soared to a pleasant 13 degrees: Brimstone butterfly (my first lep of any kind this year) and a large bumble bee (lucorum?)

Nice to see some activity at last.

not seen a Brimstone yet but my first Bumble bee was very early this year 11th of February ! she was on the window edge at school soaked up a bit of heat from the sun and then off she flew hope she survived. The a Honeybee hit my widow the following day. Not seen any bees since

Spotted a brimstone and common lizzard today at Whixall Moss.
