| | | Id insect please I found this under a rock I was moving on the allotment yesterday. It was alive, but not very active, so I put it back under the rock after I'd moved it, but I have no idea what it was (or how to find out )
It is about the width of a 10p piece - sorry I didn't have anything on me that I could put in the photo as a reference. (note to self: coins in pocket when working on allotment!)
Thanks |

| | | Re: Id insect please Hi Dragon,
Probably either a Rove or Ground Beetle (Staphylinidae/Carabidae respectively) - I'd lean towards a Staph.
Take care, Jason |
