ID : Centipede
Evening,

This Centipede was found under rotting wood along a tree lined former railway line that is now a footpath in Tiverton, Devon.

With the variegated markings and fifteen pairs of legs I make this Lithobius variegatus.

Would that be a satisfactory conclusion?

Hi Andrew...

It is indeed Lithobius variegatus, these markings are distinctive for this species.
