This is now living in a tub-not happy but figured not be great in the cold.

She has not eaten or drank or done much really.

Anyone know what it is? And does anyone want it

It looks like an egyptian grasshopper, although its hard to say from these images. Are you in Britain? Its most likely to be an escapee.

Agree it does look like an Egyptian Grasshopper.

Yes, in Britain. Found it hopping around my old pallets that had tiles on them. They came from Malaysia.

I can take more photos if needed. It's big.

Don't suppose it can survive here right? Not eaten anything-due to the fact I don't know what to give it

In that case it probably isn't this species. I'm sure the Orthoptera Recording Scheme will be interested in this record so if you can provide some good photos it would be appreciated.

If it's a Malaysian species it's unlikely to survive our winter- you could always keep it in a vivarium.

Vivarium? Well I put it in plastic tub-I have dogs not insects

I don't know where the pallets stopped off at-could have been anywhere.

Does look like eygyptian though.

I'll take more photos.
