identify this beetle

Hi can any one please identify this beetle its about 3mm and has 2 white sots on its back and has wings but have not seen it fly they came last year but only a few,now this year they are back and we see 4 or 5 a week to 8 or 9 and vary between 2mm and 5mm,will try to down load a pic

Only thing i can think of is the Fur Beetle ( Attagenus pellio), they are regarded as a pest species of wool, fur etc.

Almost certainly Attagenus pellio. You will need to find the dry protein food, or birds nest, or dead, dry bird or animal the larvae are feeding on! In the loft, or chimney?
