My first dronefly of 2011
In previous winters I've been able to find dronefly hoverflies all winter but after the pre-Christmas cold spell, I haven't seen any this year until today- taken this morning in the garden (Worthing Sussex).

Eristalis tenax, ive yet to see any this year. Although had my first ichneumon two days ago. Great photo as always.
