Bumble bee ids

Any idea on these:

Some sort of carder bee? Taken April last year in Essex on a site where brown banded is present.


Earth bumblebee?

No 1. Doesn't really look bright enough for B.humilis, plus I can see a hint of dark hairs on the abdomen. I'd say probably B.pascuorum unless you have any other views.

No 2. Certainly not B.terrestris, there is no hint of a ginger stripe between the black body and the white tail. The length of the face and tounge and the general scruffyness of suggests a dark B.hortorum to me, I think the yellow the middle is on the thorax as well ss the abdomen.
