Can I see visible spinners there? If so, one of the Clubiona species would be my first thought. Although that is only a guess.
It certainly is amazing how far they can float on just a little bit of silk and a 'friendly' breeze. |

I love all your close up photos of little critters, even with my glasses on I can't see these very well in situ, its a hidden world. |

Firstly, apology for mistake in not posting in the Spider Forum.
Geoff - Thanks for your suggested id. Yes the spinnerets were very large for such a small creature. It appeared (but may not have been the case) that silk was only being produced from one of them.
Littlesparrow - Thanks for your comments and I'm really pleased that you enjoy my pics. ....and yes I find it exciting too - it's like being on safari on a miniature scale.
