History of the study of Wasps, Ants & Bees in Yorkshire
A quirky little book edited by Michael Archer (full title: 'People, Places and Species - a History of the study of Waps, Ants and Bees in Watsonian Yorkshire.') which, as the title suggests, contains biographies of the great naturalists who studied aculeates in Yorkshire along with tables of Yorkshire aculeates - when and where they were first discovered ... and a lot more.
A good read at £3 plus £1 p&p..
