I don't know if I am supposed to do this but I thought there might be someone out there who would like this book that I acquired through a mistake on the part of the seller who advertised it as "British Hoverflies by Stubbs and Falk.
This is British Soldierflies and Their Allies: A Field Guide to the Larger British Brachycera (Hardcover)
by Alan Stubbs and Martin Drake 2001 edition. Currently out of print.
I intend to put it on Amazon in the next couple of days so I am just letting anyone who is interested have advanced notice as it would be a shame to miss it.
(If I have done the wrong thing don't shout too loud)

Either contact the seller and get the right book from him or hang onto this book. It is just as good as "Hoverflies" and well worth having. |

I have the British Hoverflies now so this one is surplus to my requirements.

There were 2 copies offered as of 8 pm 15/01/11 so I have ordered one of them.
Soldierflies, in fact most flies, tend to confuse me so I have been looking for some improved literature. Have the British Hoverflies book and it certainly deserves it's reputation for being the recognised authority on this subject. |
