WAB Tachinid Records

Happy New Year all - 'tis the season to be..................databasing records

Thank you very much to all the WAB members who have supplied me with Tachinid fly records over the past year. I have just finished a session of loading various datasets into the Tachinid Recording Scheme database including all (I hope) of the records I have so far been sent by WAB members.

I now have 117 records from WAB members covering 25 species of Tachinid, a big increase compared to the 28 records of 9 species I had last February.

Here is a map made using DMAP showing the location of the records.

Last Februarys map for comparisom -

I hope everybody can see "their" dots on the map. I have had a good trawl through all of my forum postings and PMs, but if anyone thinks I have missed any of their data do get in contact.

Matt,

I don't know if you got the records on the thread I started, it came to a dead end. I'm putting mine on diptera.info as I sort my folders now, there's still some to put a name to but I can send them all together when I get them all done.

Hi Janet

I did find that thread while going through my postings. It seems to be one of the ones I missed at the time, most of the posts were during a very busy August when I was away surveying. I have grabbed all the records from it.
