Beetle in sand dunes for ID
This beetle was in sand dunes at Gibraltar Point, July 2007 (yes, I'm going through some old images...). Looks like some kind of chafer. I haven't a clue about size!





Any help appreciated!

Gibraltar is far south, so it is not easy to identify. I can't go to the species, but I guess it is genus Anomala of which you can find a few similar species in Southeurope.

Edit: I guess the size was somewhat arround 10 mm, less than half an inch.

In this case I think it is Anomala dubia.
