| | | at last a picture of this beetle... please help i have finally managed to get a half decent picture of one of those beetle/bugs that are plauging my house. unfortunatly ive caught the shine of the light but the bug is of brown in colour, they average about 3mm anyone know what it is what it eats and why they would be all over the up stairs of house. they are now making there way down stairs!!!!!! HHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP |

clean out any nooks and crannies where the can hide I would clean any cupboards with detol spray and hoover everywhere.
They eat crumbs like cereal ect Store Cupboard Pests - No More Pests (UK) |

| | | Re: at last a picture of this beetle... please help I think it is probably Stegobium paniceum, sometimes called the bread beetle or biscuit beetle. When I have been asked about infestations of this beetle, I have suggested that people look for, say, an old dog biscuit under a cupboard, a dry builders sandwich in the loft, a birds nest or something similar. The most fun was when a lady denied all possibilityof any abandoned dry farinaceous material, and rang me back later to apologise, and confess that she had not realised what were those brown bits in her muesli.

This is just a suggestion.
I do not know if the beetle is a woodworm or biscuit beetle I found this link and thought it might help..
Sorry I can answer your questions
All I can do offer suggestions like look at ALL the woodwork in your house check every cupboard ect..
I know nothing about bugs someone else might be able to tell you what it is and how to get rid of it.
