| | | new hoverfly book Stuart and I are busy compiling a guide to hoverflies that will be a stage below Stubbs and Falk, but which will improve upon other simple guides such as Collins guides. More details can be found amongst the announcements on the Forum page of the Hoverfly Recording Scheme website.
We are anticipating that it will be on the shelves in late August 2011 - a bit late for that season but there is a lot still to do (we have about 150 -200 close-ups of key characters to do apart from finalising text and sourcing photographs).

| | | Re: new hoverfly book Hi guys
Do take a look at the HRS page as this includes indications of a deal to get the book to you at a reduced rate. Not placed on WAB to avoid possible problems with advertising - but deal aimed at providing the guide to WAB readers and Dipterists Forum members at a good price.
