| | | big black flying bug, red legs and black tail just been on here looking for info on the bug i just killed (sorry) its big and black with wings and orangey red legs and a half centimetre "stinging" tail. ive read that the tail is used to lay eggs. this has sent me into a panic as it was creeping along my mattress sticking its tail in, it took me a few minutes 2 find a suitable weapon. will it have laid eggs in my mattress (gulp) if so, wen wud they hatch? and wud fly spray or somethin destroy the eggs, because judging by how long it took me 2 kill it im worried the eggs would b hard 2 get rid of. HELP!!!!!! |

| | | Re: big black flying bug, red legs and black tail Sounds like an Ichneumon wasp- perfectly harmless unless you're a caterpillar. It won't lay eggs in your bedding (or anywhere else now!) | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
