2.is a type of eristalis hoverfly but these are difficult.
3. looks like a type caddis fly,usually found near water

Morning Jenny/Ben,
The second is Eristalis pertinax (all-hairy eyes, steadily-tapering abdomen), and 4 may be Cepaea nemoralis, and 3-5 are Caddisflies I believe.

I'm pretty sure 3 is Phrygania grandis / Phrygania striata, known to fly-fishermen as the Great Red Sedge.
A great lot of photos with some nice finds.
