Last few hoverflies?
Caught these two in the sun today:

Very few about this week, the cold has come in. Eristalis?

Yes- Drone Fly. I always think these as first in and last out of the year.

It certainly looks like Eristalis tenax.

I'm still regularly seeing a few in my garden.

But I have seen very few E. pertinax this year. Usually it's the other way around.
