| | | Hoping for identification The first of these I am sure is a hoverfly but which one?
The second I have no idea. I haven't found anything similar anywhere I have looked.
Can anybody identify them?

Ectemnius continuus does seem the most likely.
Thanks to Gatekeeper and Naturenutz both your suggestions look likely but I guess I need a better pic.
