Hoping for identification
The first of these I am sure is a hoverfly but which one?




The second I have no idea. I haven't found anything similar anywhere I have looked.




Can anybody identify them?

From that angle the hoverfly has the look of a Leucozona species.

The 2nd is a wasp, probably a Crabronidae species

2nd is an Ectemnius sp, maybe E.continuus.

Ectemnius continuus does seem the most likely.

Thanks to Gatekeeper and Naturenutz both your suggestions look likely but I guess I need a better pic.
